Born in Balıkesir in 1981, Özge Enginöz graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Art and Design, Department of Combined Arts in 2010, and later participated in a two-year Art Center Residence program in Istanbul. Her solo projects include “Loop? – Dönen Dünya – Parçalar ve Sorular” (Blok Art Space, 2016), “Huzursuz ruhlar için…” (Artnivo Gallery, 2014), “Sanıldığı Gibi Değil / Not Quite As Thought” (Mixer, 2013), and “Replik / Catchword” (Edisyon, 2011). She has also taken part in numerous group exhibitions and international projects such as “Şehir merkezine ne kadar uzaklıktayım?” (Bring Your Art, Istanbul, 2016), “Benimle kal” (Universal Hospitality, Meet Factory & Futura Gallery, Prague, 2016; Belvedere Museum, Vienna, 2016; DEKIJKDOOS, Corridorspace, Amsterdam, 2015; Weserburg Museum, Bremen, 2015), “Alçak basınç” (Kare Sanat, Istanbul, 2016), “Reloaded” (Zorlu PSM, Artnivo, Istanbul, 2015), and “Hidden Play Grounds” (CityLeaks Urban Art Festival, NEOLA Art Project, Cologne, 2015). She continues to live and work in her studio in Istanbul.
