Nesrin İçen was born in Istanbul in 1979. She graduated from the Sculpture Department of Marmara University, Faculty of Atatürk Education, in 2000. Between 2000 and 2004, she worked as an assistant to the artist İsmet Doğan. She later continued her artistic practice in her own studio and has participated in numerous exhibitions.
