Born in 1979, she received her B.F.A. from Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Art and Design, Department of Photography and Video in 2008, and completed her M.F.A. in Visual Communication Design at Istanbul Bilgi University in 2012. She lives and works in Istanbul.

Her practice explores the aesthetics and complexities of themes such as reality and its distorted versions, the flexibility of rules, predetermined structures, family, individuality, memory, remembering, and forgetting.
