Flou Project
Flou Project is an inter-disciplinary initiative shaped by an era in which the boundaries between art and design have grown increasingly blurred, transformed one another, and opened space for new experimental approaches. Modernism—representing the final link in humanity’s long history of reshaping nature—eventually led to a sharp division between nature and the city. The contrasting states and rigid distinctions produced by this process have forced people to choose between the once relatively harmonious pair of city and nature, or to construct artificial “nature” within urban environments.
In this context, Flou Project seeks to blur these rigid separations through the union of art and design. As clarity dissolves, the act of interpretation becomes more personal. Similarities, affinities, continuity, complementarity, and past experiences offer new possibilities for perception within this exploratory process. In doing so, it opens a pathway enriched with associations—one that allows individuals to encounter their own essence.
The methodology of Flou Project avoids directing participants toward fixed images or predetermined outcomes; instead, it offers exploratory, interpretive grey zones supported by a collective approach.
