Constance Hatice Steininger
Born in 1985, she is an interdisciplinary artist and cultural producer who grew up between Vienna and Turkey. Working across video-performance, site-specific installations, and trans-media productions, she is known for her research centered on concepts of space, time, borders, and play. Living in the Vienna and Burgenland regions of Austria, Steininger is also one of the founding members of the art and research collective “inBEtween,” through which she organizes performative readings, experimental screenings, and collaborative production processes. As both a cultural worker and an artist within IG Kultur Österreich, she develops an approach that foregrounds interdisciplinary transitions, sensory experience, and the relationship between body and space in her individual artistic practice as well as in her curatorial work.
